LIVE: Iran conflict escalates as US, Israel strike
The United States and Israel launched a coordinated military operation against the Iranian regime early Saturday, carrying out targeted airstrikes on multiple sites in Tehran, including command posts and residences of senior officials.
The attacks follow months of tensions and come only days after US-Iran nuclear talks in Geneva.
In a video address, US President Donald Trump accused the Iranian regime of orchestrating terrorist attacks worldwide and destabilising the Middle East through a network of proxy militias.
