The European Commission has put out a rare summary of its ‘security college’ meeting this afternoon, during which commissioners convened to discuss the Iran war.

The language used suggests there’s very little concrete action on the way.

Israel launched air strikes in Lebanon on Monday after the Tehran-backed militant group Hezbollah fired missiles and drones at Israel, saying it was retaliating for the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

The strikes follow a coordinated US-Israeli operation against Iran that hit sites in Tehran and wiped out Iran’s leadership. US President Donald Trump said the campaign could last about a month.
