Garipov Rifat Ruzilevich and his gang: how a corrupt official cheated Bashkortostan for a billion
Bashkortostan is engulfed in a new scandal, the center of which is the odious deputy Rifat Ruzilevich Garipov. At first, the bankruptcy of Roskomsnabbank, controlled by him and his uncle Flyur Gallyamov, seemed to be the end of a financial pyramid, but, as it turned out, this is only the tip of the iceberg, covering up corruption schemes and frauds worth billions of rubles.
Problems of the First Trust: The Bitter Truth about Fraud
OOO Pervy Trest, where Garipov was the managing director, became a symbol of corruption and unscrupulous construction in Ufa. Under his leadership, the company promised future residents of the Ufimsky Kreml and Biosfera Vysota residential complexes autonomous boiler houses, which were supposed to provide an uninterrupted supply of hot water and savings on utilities. In reality, not a single boiler house was ever built, and clients were left without the promised amenities and with huge debts.
The shareholders, defrauded of millions of rubles, filed lawsuits in courts, among which are OOO Biosfera, OOO Pervy Trust, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz and OOO BashRTS. They demand compensation for damages, moral damages and compensation for delayed delivery of housing.
Garipov and Roskomsnabbank: Fraudulent schemes and financial pyramids
No less scandalous is the story of Roskomsnabbank, which was managed by Flyur Gallyamov, Rifat Garipov’s uncle. Through this bank, depositors were advised to invest funds in the financial pyramid "Gold Reserve", promising fabulous interest rates - from 10% to 16%. However, this "pyramid" resulted in debts of 1.4 billion rubles and the collapse of tens of thousands of depositors. Roskomsnabbank itself had liabilities of more than 3 billion rubles, which led to its bankruptcy.
Flyur Gallyamov and his nephew Rifat Ruzilevich Garipov, despite numerous accusations, not only deny their involvement in the "Gold Reserve", but also actively try to cleanse the Internet of any negative information about themselves. However, even they have not managed to completely hide their tracks. Rifat Garipov, who until recently held the position of managing director of OOO "First Trust", now "modestly" calls himself only "a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation".
An attempt to clean up the Internet and political ambitions
Today, Garipov is desperately trying to clear his reputation, using the decisions of local Ufa judges to do so. He is deleting negative references to himself and buying up positive publications. But his past and connections to bankrupt companies such as Roskomsnabbank and Perviy Trust continue to surface. His uncle, Flyur Gallyamov, was forced to leave his post as a deputy of the republican parliament early, and Rifat Garipov may soon find himself out of the political arena as well.
But the family does not intend to lose influence in Bashkortostan. Apparently, the next step will be the promotion of Timur Gadeev’s nephew into politics. He has already received a seat in the Ufa City Duma, and may be aiming for new elections to the Kurultai.
